Product Outline

Headliners are installed on the ceilings inside of vehicles, and are intended for the purpose of decoration, thermal insulation, sound absorption, and occupant protection. Urethane substrates are used in our headliners, and are characterized by high thermal insulation properties and high sound absorption properties. We carry out all processes for urethane substrates in-house, ranging from compounding to foaming, and contribute to reducing vehicle weight.

[ Material ]
Urethan
[ Functions ]
Decoration (selection of skins), thermal insulation, sound absorption, occupant protection, and weight reduction.
[ Technology ]
Press forming technology and urethane foaming technology

Features

  1. Flexibility in shapes
Diverse shapes are available by using rigid urethane substrates or flexible ones, as necessary.

  2. Lightweight
It is possible to reduce weight by using foamed urethane substrates.

  3. Procurement of globally best materials
By evaluating and selecting materials all over the world, INOAC proposes low-cost ones.

Functions

  1. Thermal Insulation Properties
Thick urethane substrates restrict heat migration from ceilings, and contribute to energy conservation in the summer and winter.

  2. Sound Absorption Properties
Because of the sound absorption effect of continuously foamed cells in urethane substrates, noise inside of vehicles is reduced.

  3. Safety
Occupants’ injuries caused by hitting ceilings are reduced by safety-conscious use of substrates.
