Aero Spats

The consumer public does not know about the existence of aero spats. However, these are important parts which effectively control the airflow going into the undersides of vehicles or into wheel housings, with the consequence that running stability is secured, resulting in reduced fuel consumption. Since gasoline and electricity prices have risen recently, aero spats are essential to all vehicles.

   Products in various sizes are available, such as large-sized parts as large as vehicle widths and which are installed under front bumpers, and palm-sized parts which are installed in front of tires.

1. Improvement In Fuel Consumption
   Resistance is restrained in such a way that air flowing into tire housings is caused to flow out.


2. Running Stability
   Necessary shapes calculated by means of CAE analysis can be reproduced by the injection molding technology. The airflow going into the undersides of vehicles or into wheel housings is properly controlled, with the result that running stability is secured and that fuel consumption is reduced.


3. Environmental Considerations
   The waste produced in the production process is separated and recycled.
