Roof Molding

Product Outline

Roof moldings are decorative parts that serve to cover gaps between roof panel and the side panels. These moldings are installed on a vehicle by being fitted into clips at the front and rear ends of the body roof and by being subjected to the reaction force applied by the molding lips to the body.

1. Wide-ranging material selection
   Because of a multilayer molding technique, various materials can be selected depending on the intended use.
   
   Main purposes of individual materials
   * Skin material: Giving texture in terms of color and gloss, and weatherproof performance
   * Insert Skin material: Preventing shrinkage of materials
   * Main body material: Ensuring rigidity of the entire product
   * Lip material: Retention in body grooves by reaction force


2. Uniforming of cross-sections
   If the shapes of the grooves in the body are the same, materials with identical cross-sections can be used by changing the extrusion length.


3. For luxury cars
   By painting surfaces in the same colors as those of bodies, these parts can be applied to luxury cars.
