INOAC GROUP HISTORY


SEJAK 1926

INOAC memulai bisnisnya sebagai pemanufaktur ban dan tub / ban dalam sepeda. Sejak saat itu, grup INOAC telah menjadi konglomerat internasional dan penyedia umum atas berbagai produk yang dibuat dari poliurethan, karet, plastik dan material baru selama bertahun-tahun.

1926

Inoue Rubber Co., the predecessor of Inoue Rubber Co.,Ltd. was established in Atsuta Ward, Nagoya commencing production of bicycle tires and tubes.

1938

Inoue Rubber Co. was incorporated, commencing production of industrial rubber products (molded and injected)

1948

Established Tokyo 1Sales Office in Chuo Ward, Tokyo.

1952

Commenced production of motorcycle tires

1953

Commenced production of synthetic resin products such as vinyl hoses

1957

Commenced production of "Foamlite",rigid polyurethane foam

1959

Began selling "Colorfoam" brand polyether-based foam. Began selling "Colorfoam" mattresses, entering the sleeping furniture field. Began selling transparent nylon made milk bottles, free from disadvantages of glass bottles and polyethylene bottles, entering the nursing products field.

1960

Automotive interior products using polyurethane foam were adopted for the first time in Japan, entering into the automotive components business for the first time.

1961

Established Anjo Plant in Anjo, Aichi to meet the rapidly growing demand for polyurethane foam. Began building production bases around Japan. Released “Foam Edge” , a water pipe system to prevent freezing, entering into piping material business.

1954

Established MTP Kasei Co., Ltd. under the technical partnership with Bayer AG. Germany, and started production of polyurethane foam for the first time in Japan.

1969

Established a joint venture (currently INOAC Living Co., Ltd.) with Decro-Wall in the United States to produce easy-to-stick wall materials. Entered the do-it-yourself products business.

1974

Introduced cold-insulator technology from Vamus B.v. of Holland and commenced production of cold insulators. Entered the logistics material business.

1973

Established Hukla Japan Inc., a joint venture with Hukla GmbH of Germany and Matsuzakaya Japan to manufacture and sell sophisticated furniture. Entered the furniture business.

1975

Commenced the production of cosmetic containers, beginning the cosmetic container business in earnest.

1965

Established Sakurai Plant in Sakurai, Hekikai-gun, Aichi to increase the production of plastic products. Established Nippon Cellasto Co., Ltd. (currently BASF INOAC Polyurethanes Ltd.) as a joint venture with Elastogram GmbH of Switzerland to produce urethane elastomer Cellasto.

1980

Established Inoue MTP Co., Ltd. as a result of merger of the industrial rubber and plastic operations of Inoue Rubber Co., Ltd. and MTP Kasei Co., Ltd., creating a comprehensive chemical manufacturer of polyurethane foam, rubber and plastic. Introduced "INOAC" as the common brand name. Commenced production of "Thermax" , fireproof polyurethane boards, entering the construction material business.

1988

Began selling "Cronel" , an easy packaging system, entering the packaging-material industry in earnest.

1982

Commenced production of rubber rollers conveying sheets for facsimile machines and photocopiers, joining the office automation equipment industry business in earnest.

1990

Changed company name from Inoue MTP Co., Ltd. to INOAC Corporation. Renewed corporate identity. Renewed the INOAC corporate identity.

2000

Established Bridgestone IRC Manufacturing Co., Ltd. a joint venture with Bridgestone Corporation to develop and manufacture motorcycle tires.

1976

Nippon Cellasto Co., Ltd. renamed Polyurethane Chemical Co., Ltd. (currently BASF INOAC Polyurethanes Ltd.), changing its joint venture partner to BASF in Germany.

1999

1Introduced YES system, an environment-friendly polyurethane foam manufacturing system at the Yana Plant, for the first time in Japan Began the development and sales of welfare and nursing-care goods. Joined welfare goods business in earnest.

1991

Established INOAC Technical Center, Co., Ltd., a comprehensive research institute in Hadano, Kanagawa

1994

Integrated the living and lifestyle goods businesses to establish a new, comprehensive planning and sales company INOAC Living Co., Ltd.

2008

Established Inoac Housing & Construction Materials Co., Ltd. to deal with housing materials and piping materials for infrastructure.

2001

Established Inorec Japan K.K.,a joint venture with Bridgestone Corporation to develop and manufacture motorcycle tires. Established Minami Kantoh Inoac Co., Ltd to manufacture headrests in the southern Kanto Area.

2007

Established Taketoyo Plant in Aichi to manufacture PORON®, microcellular polymer sheets. Established Kitagami Plant in Iwate to manufacture automotive exterior and interior components.

2002

Established I. W. Foam Kyusyu Corporation to manufacture automotive interior components in west part of Japan. Established Kantoh Inoac Co., Ltd. to manufacture, process and sell foam products.

2005

Established Toyohashi Plant with integrated production lines in Toyohashi, Aichi to manufacture headrests.

2009

Transferred the Tokyo head office of Inoac Corporation to the Osaki West-city Bldg. and held the exhibition there.

2014

Commenced production of "PURECELL™", the thinnest foam in tha world.

2013

Commenced production of "FOLEC™", environment-friendly clean foam sheet.

2011

Opened interior shops Living Plaza in Osaki, Tokyo and other places. INOAC Technical Center Co.,Ltd received the reward "nano tech grand prize (ingredient and material category)"
